Job Morris
Job is based in Botswana. He has years of experience in development practice and conservation. He holds a Bachelor of Education and several other human rights qualifications. His main areas of interest are Indigenous peoples and Local Communities, human rights, land rights, climate change, environmental conservation and biodiversity. He has taken charge of the position this year (2024) in the Community Leaders Network as an Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities (IPLC) Officer. He has experience of working regionally and internationally with organisations and individuals who pursue the same agenda of development, human rights and environmental conservation. Job is a strong advocate of social justice, Indigenous peoples’ movements, San youth, education, climate change and environmental conservation.
